Common questions
Where is my writing stored?
On your device, and in your own private iCloud if you are signed in. We run no servers and cannot see your work. Snapshots, a 30-day Trash, and a full library archive backup are built into the app under Settings → Backup.
Sync isn't working between my devices
Make sure both devices are signed into the same iCloud account with iCloud Drive turned on. Give it a minute after a fresh install to catch up. The Settings screen shows whether iCloud sync is active.
How do I get my writing out?
Export any book or chapter as Markdown, plain text, RTF, or a submission-formatted PDF from the share/export button. A whole-library archive also lives in Settings whenever you want a complete backup.
How do refunds work?
Purchases are handled by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something drove you there, we would love to hear about it first so we can learn.
